Also wanted to chime in about disposable episodes: I will not only occasionally rewatch these episodes, but I have the playslist for The Final Bosman saved to my library, and I will go back and watch that from time to time as well. I miiiight even know those episodes better than Kyle himself at this point.
And speaking specifically to TFB, and eventually Delayed Input I'm sure, it is nice to kinda go back and relive that time in gaming a bit. Be reminded of what the feelings of the time were. Live in old hype, remember old disappointments, get sometimes interesting new insight with the benefit of hindsight, or shake your head at an industry that uncomfortably repeats history in all the wrong ways, even nearly a decade later. Don't undervalue rewatching episodes!
Fwiw, I went and watched the entirety of The Final Bosman for the first time after finding Delayed Input this year and it was really enjoyable. Not as disposable as you think.
I plan to get PSVR2 on day one. (are there pre-orders? did i miss it?). No idea what i'll play on it. assuming there will be something. i mean the horizon zero dawn thing for sure. and then . something else will happen? right? someday? someday. i'm sure. baffled by the idea people aren't hyped for it. wondering if this means i am not exactlyyyyy a part o this community.
Why will most of the audience not care about PSVR2 though? That always alluded my, the general desinterest of most gamers for VR. If it is because most VR games are "experiences", that I understand. But I think that was mostly due to hardware limitations of PSVR or Oculus Quest. PSVR2 is said to be much more advanced, with actual ps5 graphics. That is the kind of VR I have been waiting for since I saw it in movies in the 90s.
When I say this, you will say NO! But I'm going to say it! Just outright say it, knowing 100% you are going to say absolutely not! Are you ready to scream NO! Are you prepared to scowl and purse your lips in utter defiance? Ok, I warned you. I think you should wear a Skeletor shirt for one of your videos. I know, I know. No.
I have to say, this was a weak episode. Very contradictory in so many points it’s trying to make. Making fun of promoting big titles while doing that. Discuss the nature of being excited of a tent pool game while promoting to watch steams of it in order to evaluate it. Equating renting games with YouTube videos whilst missing the point of both worlds, etc
I know I am insane but I really didn't enjoy God of War's combat as much as I did the originals. Didn't even finish the game no matter how well the storytelling was executed. The level structure was boring to me also.
No, I absolutely do not agree with watching on youtube to make an opinion when certain games is loved for its gameplay as well as its story or plays a pivotal role into the game unlike TallTales games or something where you might as well watch it.
Not only that but watching someones playthrough influences your view on a game based on how the Streamer/Uploader handles or performs at the game. Its not truly your own opinion but someone else like the Hate Mob that happens during The Last of US Part 2 leaks happen.
Kyle may think of the episodes as disposable, but going back and watching The Final Bosman reminds me of where the gaming world was when those videos were made. It brought me back to the topics discussed and the things that were considered controversial or revolutionary. I think of the videos more as time capsules. They're represented by what the gaming world was when they were created.
I really appreciate a great video about God Of War 2 that has zero spoilers right now. I am so hungry/hyped for this game, but I will absolutely not watch one more second of any trailers or reviews until I have had a chance to play it for myself. You are so right that it feels so good to know there is a great video game waiting for all of us next week. It's like when you go home for the holidays and you know your mom is going to make your favorite food, you can just look forward to something you know you are going to enjoy. Thanks, Bosman!
Love the spiderweb background! I feel the same way about the PSVR2. You need a PS5 + the VR hardware, and it’s not wireless! On top of that it’s not comparable with the PSVR1 games.
Secondly, I thick that “Cosmonious High” might be a game to play when under the influence…
Ahh that feeling of playing FF7 Remake in early Covid times. I really wanted 100% of my focus to be on that most-anticipated title during that week of April, but like…the world was imploding with confusion outside and I couldn't tune it out fully. I bought the game by standing outside at a Target line on launch day morning pretending to shop for 'essentials'
Haha Kyle you’re crazy. GoW and psvr2 aren’t comparable, one is an evolution of video games and our reality, the other is a fleeting game! Not that there isn’t reason to be excited about god of war, artistic masterpieces can be very valuable, and it is coming much sooner.

12.11.2022This show isn't as dispensable as Kyle thinks. The Final Bosman holds up very well and is still super fun to watch.

08.11.2022The 3 best games so far this year have been:

In that order.
Will Kratos be able to break into that podium? I don't think so, but we'll see.
