Holiday Island is a business simulation game made and published by Sunflowers Interactive. It was released in 1996.
Holiday Island is in the style of Sim City, but instead of building a town you have to fill up some Caribbean isles to create the ideal holiday location. There are more than 60 different buildings to choose from – hotels, bars, car rentals, sport facilities, parks, discos and many more. You are facing several rivals, and can play dirty tricks on them to inhibit their progress
You can start an endless game or play one of the 6 scenarios, each with a different goal. The backing MIDI music is Caribbean -themed – Reggae and samba.

21.03.2023Now this defined my childhood perfectly, right there, and I was a 2000's kid. I don't care what people say about this game, but I can say that I really appreciate simple old-school games like this. Something about the simplicity of the graphics and the music that enhances the nostalgia factor, it really brings me in every time. I find it quite surprising there aren't many Holiday Island gameplay videos on YouTube. This is truly a precious gem that should be preserved. Thanks for taking the part into uploading a bit of walkthrough of this game. My satisfaction is fulfilled even more 😌
P.S. I think the music of this game is still bangin', not gonna lie. Super catchy and underrated
